LSC dates will be set February 7th!
 
- All playday dates for the Lubbock Saddle Club will be the 1st Saturday of each month (March - August) with the exception of the month of April. Due to the ABC Rodeo on the 1st weekend of April; the April playday will be the 2nd weekend of April.

Regular Playday Series
All Rides for the Regular Playday Series: $2.00/Ride Per Person (6 Events ran each play day) with a $50.00 cap for a family of four or more!  Exhibitions*: $2.00/Ride Per Person
*Please note: if there are more than 40 riders at any one playday, exhibitions will be limited to one per rider, per event.  Officers may at their discretion, prohibit exhibition rides in order to complete a playday in a timely manner.
 
Riders must have 24 rides to qualify for year end awards. Please see playday rules for more info.
(Negative EIA Coggins Required! - Coggins will be checked at the gate, please be prepared to show them. You may bring a copy to have on file - give copy to LaDonna Mild at registration.)

Lubbock Saddle Club
2012 Friday Night Youth Series
One time $25.00 entry fee; $3.00/Ride, Per Person. 
(4 events ran each series: Poles, Rodeo Flag, Barrels and Goat-Tying) 
Must be 18 or under, as of January 1, 2011 to participate in events and must ride 4 of the 8 playdays to qualify.  The prize the participants will be competing for will be decided by the
Youth Series Chairperson. Once a decision is made, it will be announced.
The 2011 Friday Night Youth Series Awards Banquet will be Saturday, September 17th at the
Carlisle Roller Rink on west 19th from 12-2. This is the same roller rink that we have previously
held our banquet. Please contact the Youth Series Coordinator for more information regarding series.

TAKE NOTE:
All Rides for District Events have been reduced to: $3.00/Ride, Per Person
(6 Events will be $18.00) Exhibitions remain $3.00/ride. Riders that are not members of one of the three clubs (LSC, WOF or WTR) or only ride exhibitions will pay a $5.00 arena usage fee. 
 
By being a member of the Lubbock Saddle Club, you are automatically a member of the AASP&RC District II.  However, if you plan to participate at the Association level events: Spring Round-up, Play Day Finals, 50/50 Challenge, or Horseshow Finals in Bowie, Texas, you must join AASP&RC

****NEGATIVE COGGINS ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH HORSE BROUGHT TO EACH PLAYDAY**
 Please note: All District II playdays will be scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of each month, with the exception of those that conflict with AASP&RC events, specifically the months of March, April and June. In March, April and June, the playdays will roll to the 4th Saturday of the month due to conflict of schedule with previously scheduled Association events.

*Directions to the Morton Arena: Morton is 24 miles west of

Levelland on Hwy 114. Turn on the road by Allsups (right) and head

north, go 1/4 mile to the stop sign and turn (right) east, go 1/2 mile

to the Rodeo Arena sign, turn (left) north to the Arena parking lot is

on the right. (Currently no playdays are scheduled to be in Morton;

however, should the schedule or location change above, the directions

for Morton Arena will remain on the website.)

*Directions to the WTR Arena: exit Hwy 41 from I-27,

head west on 41 for 1.7 miles and make a right (north) onto

CR 2300. The arena will be visible.

Cal Farley's Boys Ranch Rodeo & Trail Ride - Vega, TX

As we have for over 40 years, the Lubbock Saddle Club will be going

to Cal Farley's over Labor Day Weekend. Most will arrive Friday night

and head back home Monday morning. A menu will be prepared and

a grocery list made available for those that are going to sign up to

ingredients or items required to prepare each meal. Those that plan

to join us that haven't been before will need to be prepared to bring

fencing or panels to create a pen for your horses. (Solar chargers,

t-posts and wire make great pens.) Bring portable generators, gas,

etc. Most sleep in their trailers; however, tents are welcome. We ride

in the grand entry for each of the rodeo performances,will host a

playday for the residents & riding clubs Saturday evening and trail

trail ride each day. Full parade uniforms are requested. A T-Shirt

Flyer will be posted an you will have a chance to order yours soon!

If you need more information regarding the Cal Farley's weekend,

please contact one of the officers.

ABC Rodeo - Lubbock, Texas

As in years past, the Lubbock Saddle Club will be riding in the grand

entries at the ABC Rodeo. More information will follow. Full parade

uniforms will be required for any rider participating each night. Typically on

Saturday, we "tailgate" in the parking lot between the performances and

watch the matinee performance. More information will follow related to this

event as time draws nearer to the rodeo.
